Gymnastics is one of the most comprehensive excercises for children to be involved with. On a developmental level it helps make more connections in the brain as spatial awareness and diverse body movements are required all of which are a plus for your youngster’s brain power.

Why Gymnastics ?
Increased flexibility : As you engage in gymnastics, you condition your muscles to be more flexible. This will benefit you both inside and outside the gym by reducing the risk of injury.
Bone health : Weight bearing exercise benefits your bones because it helps them stay in shape and prevent brittleness. Exercising from a young age can help to improve bone density which can help women in particular from developing the bone disorders that sometime come with age.
Burn Calories and work your muscle : Gymnastics helps you burn calories as you go through your exercises and also tones and builds muscles. This is done by your heart rate speeding up and engaging the muscles in your arms , legs , back , shoulders and abs .
Build personal discipline : By nature , an activity like gymnastics requires a lot of self- discipline . Gymnasts may need to work through mild discomfort and be able to push themselves to achieve their goals. This may also involve been able to train at home on their own doing their conditioning exercise such as press ups sit ups etc.
